Misery makes a great muse. I absolutely love this picture, I think it turned out very well. The wording on it says, 'this is not an end...' if French, it's a bit of a hint to one of my favorite artists. Also, yes, that is supposed to be blood it's a little red, but I think it's fine.

I agree. Good wine is the cornerstone of civilisation. Life is barely worth living in England without good wine. Anything under £10 is no rival to a 50c litre bottle of vin de pays in France. Some southern vin de pays du Gard is sold here at £4 is really undrinkable, undrinkable in the sense cillit bang is undrinkable. You have your revenge for all the useless New World wines we ant-snobbishly bought.

My goodness, those shards are sharp. You must be really miserable, but just think you could be living in England

I think that the artist means that it's not serious if there is not wine anymore, the life continues. In France we like the wine ;)

Ah, je pensais que c'etais une bouteille de vin qui avait cassee quand je l'ai vue. Mais tu me dis que cela est du sang. En tout les cas. Tres bien.
